Should I Share It: Navigating News on Social Media

Do you see newsworthy events on your social media feeds? How often do you share a post with friends before fact checking the information? When a news event goes viral, photos and memes spread quickly with little concern as to whether the infomation is accurate.

In this workshos, you will learn:

  • How to differentiate between news, opinion, and entertainment
  • How to quickly fact check a post before sharing it
